Drift Into Summer on the Sandy River!
There's nothing quite like floating a Pacific Northwest river on a warm summer day—and now Sasquatch Shuttle makes it easier than ever to get on the water without the hassle.
Our Sandy River Tube Shuttle runs Memorial Day through Labor Day, getting you from our store to the river and back so all you have to do is relax and let the current do the work.
Here's how it works:
🚌 We Handle the Logistics
Hop on the shuttle at our store. We'll take you to Dabney State Park to start your float, then pick you up at Glenn Otto Park when you're done. Shuttles run every hour starting at 10:30am, with the last tube rental departure at 3:00pm and the last shuttle at 7:10pm on Saturdays, Sundays, Memorial Day, and Labor Day Monday.
🛟 Everything You Need to Float
Reserve your tube online before you go and avoid the hassle. We'll have it ready when you arrive, so you can grab your gear and head straight to the water instead of carrying everything from your car. Life jackets are provided and required for kids; adults must take one along for the float. Need anything else? Sunscreen, sunglasses, and dry bags are available in the shop.
👟 Pro Tips Before You Go
- Water shoes are strongly recommended
- Sunscreen is a must—we sell it if you forget
- Wear clothes you don't mind getting wet
Bringing the family? Kids who can comfortably span the tube hole can ride solo. Smaller ones ride on a parent's lap. All kids must wear a life vest—no exceptions.
Shuttle Details
Grab your tubes and shuttle tickets at our store, and hop on the bus to Dabney State Park. From Dabney, you'll leisurely drift down the Sandy River's cool, glacial water for approximately 3-4 hours. Make sure to hop out at the beach at Glenn Otto Park — on the left bank of the river before the current picks up speed — and goes under the big, green bridge. You'll know you're at the right spot when you see the lifeguards. After you get out of the water, just grab your tube and follow the path up to the parking lot where the shuttle picks you up and brings you downtown or back to the outlet mall.Hours of Operation
