With over two million visitors annually, the Columbia River Gorge remains one of the Pacific Northwest’s most beloved scenic destinations—but also one of the most congested. For those frustrated by overcrowded roads, limited parking, and concerns about car safety, the newly launched Sasquatch Shuttle provides a much-needed alternative.

Founded by Alan Dayley and Kent Krumpschmidt, the service offers a secure and convenient parking solution just off the Bridal Veil exit on I-84. From there, riders can hop aboard a cheerful, converted school bus that stops at eight of the Gorge’s most iconic locations, including Multnomah Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Latourell Falls, Wahkeena Falls, Vista House, and more.

Operating daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., the shuttle helps reduce vehicle traffic while giving visitors a chance to enjoy the Gorge without the stress of navigating packed trailheads. For just $5 parking and $10 for a full-day shuttle pass, riders also benefit from on-site restrooms, RV parking, and a live tracking system using wristbands that show shuttle timing via smartphone.

The shuttle is dog-friendly, follows all current health and safety guidelines, and is designed to make Gorge travel smoother, safer, and more enjoyable. With plans to expand the fleet to include accessible and eco-friendly vehicles, Sasquatch Shuttle is quickly becoming the go-to option for exploring the Gorge.

Skip the parking stress and ride with ease—Sasquatch Shuttle lets you focus on the waterfalls, not the traffic.
